📍Location: Bournemouth (at least 2 days in the office)
🕒Type: Fixed term Internship, 3-5 days per week 

💰Salary: £13 per hour

We’re on the lookout for a Performance Marketing Intern to join our team and help us get the word out across both traditional search engines and some of the coolest new AI platforms. But here’s the thing: we’re not just looking for someone to do the bare minimum. We want someone who’s tenacious, loves a challenge, and is always ready to go above and beyond. If you’re the type who’s not afraid to roll up your sleeves, hustle, and solve problems on the fly, we want you on our team.

You’ll be working alongside a super friendly and curious group of people who value creativity and learning. This is a great fit for someone at the start of their career, like a student or recent graduate, but also, if you’ve got the skills and the drive, we’re always happy to chat.

What You’ll Be Doing 👩‍💻👨‍💻

• Running technical SEO audits to figure out how we can level up our site

• Suggesting and working on on-page SEO improvements, collaborating with our developers to implement them

• Figuring out site performance issues and working to fix them

• Monitoring and reporting on search rankings and performance metrics

• Digging into how AI platforms (like LLMs) find and index our content

• Creating killer AI-friendly content strategies

• Exploring emerging AI and search tools to expand our reach

• Developing strategies to optimise for AI-powered recommendations

• Finding opportunities to build backlinks and improve our site’s authority

• Helping with guest posting and building partnerships

• Conducting competitor analysis and keyword research

• Tracking trends in SEO, AI, and performance marketing

• Evaluating directories and review platforms for visibility

• Preparing insight-driven reports and actionable recommendations

Who You Are 🧩

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t wait for problems to solve themselves - you jump in and figure things out, no matter what. So if you're the kind of person who isn’t afraid to think outside the box, solve problems on your own, and take ownership of your work, we want you. 

✅ Essential Requirements

• Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field - or someone with relevant experience

• Solid understanding of SEO and how search engines work

• Comfortable using SEO tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or how websites work technically

• Strong research and analysis skills — you know how to dig into data and find opportunities

• Clear communicator, able to break down complex stuff into easy-to-understand recommendations

• Ability to interpret data and extract actionable insights

• Independent, but also know how to collaborate when needed

• A passion for AI technologies and what they mean for digital marketing

• Driven by using tech for good to drive positive social impact

🌟 Nice to Haves

• Experience with blog writing, content editing, or content optimisation

• Knowledge of off-page SEO or backlink strategies

• Exposure to AI tools, platforms, or prompt engineering

• Familiarity with digital marketing in the Tech for Good space

• Experience using Notion, HubSpot, or other marketing tools
